Aims with regard to establishing a coral reef conservation committee
A coral reef conservation committee was established at the 5th JCRS meeting in 2002. The aim of this committee was to propose to relevant agencies practical guidelines for co-existence between humans and coral reefs, and to contribute to the debate on the protection of the global environment.
